Rosacea treatment
Rosacea is a chronic skin condition that primarily affects the face, causing intense redness on the cheeks, nose, chin, and sometimes the forehead. Unlike couperose, rosacea is often accompanied by other symptoms such as flaking, bumps, pimples, and even painful inflammations. This condition can lead to self-consciousness, but fortunately, laser treatment offers an effective solution.
Advanced laser treatments can significantly reduce the redness and inflammation typically associated with rosacea.
The laser targets the blood vessels, reducing swelling and irritation, resulting in a calmer and more even complexion.
After the treatment, redness and other visible symptoms will noticeably diminish, allowing you to regain confidence in your appearance.
Laser treatment for rosacea is quick, safe, and requires minimal recovery time. After a few sessions, your skin may appear more balanced, refreshed, and radiant.
If you suffer from rosacea, laser therapy is an excellent option to restore your skin and enhance your natural glow.

How Does the Treatment Work?
Before the procedure, our laser specialist will provide you with all the essential information. The skin is then thoroughly cleansed and prepared for treatment. During the session, the laser targets the dilated blood vessels and inflammation responsible for redness. You may experience a slight tingling or warming sensation, but the procedure is generally well tolerated.
After the treatment, the skin may be temporarily red or slightly swollen, but this usually subsides within a few hours to days. The number of sessions required varies, but after just a few treatments, symptoms are often significantly reduced, leaving you with a calmer and brighter complexion.
It is essential to follow the aftercare instructions, including avoiding sun exposure and using sunscreen.

Preparation
It is important to prepare your skin well before rosacea treatment. Avoid sun exposure for a week before treatment and use a sunscreen with a minimum factor of 50 every day.
Arrive at the appointment without makeup so the laser therapist can properly cleanse your skin. Avoid using irritating products such as exfoliants or retinol for a few days before the treatment. Inform your laser therapist about any medications that may increase your skin’s sensitivity.
Following these steps will ensure the treatment is as effective as possible and provides the best results.
Aftercare
- Avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen with at least SPF 50 daily.
- Apply soothing creams to reduce redness and inflammation, and keep your skin hydrated with a gentle moisturiser.
- Avoid makeup for the first 24 hours and refrain from using exfoliants or products with strong active ingredients like retinol until your skin has fully healed.
- Follow your laser therapist’s aftercare instructions to achieve the best results and ensure a quick recovery.
